SALES DIRECTOR

We are actively seeking a dynamic and skilled Content Manager to join our sales team. As a Content Manager with a strong emphasis on sales, you will be at the forefront of crafting and curating compelling content that not only enhances our brand presence but also drives significant sales growth. Responsibilities:


  1. Content Strategy and Planning:
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to formulate a potent content strategy in alignment with sales objectives and target audiences.
  • Identify content requirements across various sales funnel stages and establish a comprehensive content calendar.
  1. Content Creation:
  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and persuasive content across multiple platforms, including website, social media, email campaigns, presentations, and more.
  • Create sales-centric content, encompassing product/service descriptions, value propositions, case studies, success stories, and sales collateral.
  1. Lead Generation and Conversion:
  • Forge content that directly addresses potential customers' pain points and challenges, positioning our offerings as solutions.
  • Optimise content for SEO to enhance discoverability and stimulate lead generation.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the sales team to generate targeted content facilitating the conversion of leads into customers.
  1. Sales Enablement:
  • Develop sales enablement materials like pitch decks, sales scripts, objection handling guides, and competitor analysis.
  • Ensure that sales teams have access to up-to-date and pertinent content that bolsters their sales efforts.
  1. Content Distribution and Promotion:
  • Implement robust strategies for the effective distribution of content via suitable channels, including social media, email campaigns, webinars, and industry publications.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven adjustments to enhance reach and engagement.
  1. Content Quality Control:
  • Uphold a consistent brand voice and messaging throughout all content pieces.
  • Edit and proofread content to guarantee accuracy, clarity, and alignment with sales objectives.
  1. Industry Research:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer preferences to fine-tune content strategies and messaging.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Forge close collaborations with sales, marketing, design, and product teams to glean insights and partake in content initiatives.


Qualifications:


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven Expertise: Demonstrated experience in content creation and management, with a strong focus on sales-oriented content.
  • Sales Savvy: In-depth understanding of sales processes, buyer personas, and the customer journey.
  • Writing Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to craft persuasive content.
  • SEO Proficiency: Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimisation techniques.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with content management systems and analytics tools.
  • Creativity: Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Organization: Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Results-Driven: Results-driven approach with a focus on meeting sales targets.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in B2B sales or the technology industry is advantageous.
