MEDIA ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
We're on the lookout for a highly motivated and client-focused Media Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of media planning and buying, excellent communication skills, and a fervor for delivering exceptional outcomes. The Media Account Executive will be tasked with managing client relationships, crafting media strategies, executing media plans, and providing continuous support to ensure client contentment.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for designated client accounts, cultivating robust relationships and offering exceptional customer service.
- Comprehend client objectives, target demographics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to fashion effective media strategies.
- Conduct regular meetings and communications with clients to furnish updates, address concerns, and present media recommendations.
- Actively seek opportunities to upsell and cross-sell media services to clients, optimising revenue and client satisfaction.
Media Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to create media strategies that align with client goals and target audiences.
- Undertake market research, audience analysis, and competitive intelligence to inform media planning and targeting decisions.
- Identify media channels and platforms that optimally reach the target audience and optimise media budgets for maximum impact.
- Create comprehensive media plans, encompassing media mix, ad placements, targeting strategies, and campaign schedules.
Media Buying and Execution:
- Execute media purchases across various channels, negotiating rates, securing media placements, and overseeing media budgets.
- Coordinate with media vendors, publishers, and partners to guarantee precise and timely campaign execution.
- Monitor and enhance media campaigns to maximise performance, reach, and return on investment (ROI).
- Supply continuous reporting and campaign analysis, sharing insights and recommendations with clients.
Campaign Performance Analysis:
- Scrutinise campaign data and pivotal metrics to assess performance against client goals and KPIs.
- Offer data-driven insights and suggestions for campaign optimisation and future media planning.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis and formulate performance reports to illustrate the efficacy of media strategies and tactics.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance campaign performance and surpass client expectations.
Industry Knowledge and Innovation:
- Stay updated on media industry trends, emerging technologies, and new advertising prospects.
- Persistently expand knowledge of media planning and buying best practices to stimulate innovation and amplify client campaigns.
- Share industry insights and expertise with clients, offering guidance on fresh media trends and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in media, marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
- Established experience in media planning and buying, ideally within an agency or media-related role.
- Robust comprehension of media channels, encompassing digital, traditional, and emerging media platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for forging robust client relationships.
- Sound analytical skills with the capability to decipher campaign data and deliver data-driven insights.
- Proficiency in media planning and buying tools, software, and research platforms.
- Aptitude to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, juggling multiple client accounts concurrently.
- Attention to detail with effective organisational and time management skills.
- Solid negotiation and problem-solving proficiencies.
- Awareness of media industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
