MEDIA STRATEGIST

Are you a strategic and creative thinker? We're on the lookout for a Media Strategist to be a part of our dynamic team. Responsibilities:


Client Collaboration:


  • Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their advertising objectives, target audience, and overarching marketing goals.
  • Conduct thorough client briefings to gain insights into their brand, products/services, and competitive landscape.
  • Maintain regular communication to keep clients updated on media strategies, campaign progress, and performance.


Market Research and Analysis:


  • Conduct comprehensive market research, audience analysis, and competitive intelligence to inform media strategies.
  • Identify target audience characteristics, preferences, and media consumption habits to determine the most effective channels.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging media platforms, and consumer behavior to leverage new opportunities.


Media Strategy Development:


  • Develop innovative and data-driven media strategies that align with client objectives and target audience.
  • Define media objectives, set KPIs, and establish measurement frameworks to evaluate campaign success.
  • Identify the optimal media mix and channel selection to reach the target audience and maximise campaign impact.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on media budget allocation and investment to achieve campaign goals.


Media Plan Creation and Execution:


  • Create detailed media plans that outline media objectives, strategies, tactics, and budget allocation.
  • Determine the optimal timing and sequencing of media placements to ensure maximum impact.
  • Collaborate with media vendors, publishers, and partners to negotiate rates, secure placements, and optimise media inventory.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as media buyers and account managers, to execute media plans seamlessly.


Campaign Monitoring and Optimisation:


  • Monitor campaign performance and key metrics to evaluate effectiveness and measure against KPIs.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of media data and insights to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Make data-driven optimisations to maximise campaign reach, engagement, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Provide regular reports on campaign performance, highlighting insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.


Strategic Guidance and Innovation:


  • Offer strategic guidance and thought leadership to clients, providing insights on media trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies.
  • Stay at the forefront of media innovation and identify opportunities to leverage new platforms and tactics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative media strategies that align with broader marketing initiatives.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in media planning and strategy development, preferably in an agency or media-related role.
  • Strong understanding of media channels, including digital, traditional, and emerging media platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in media planning tools, software, and research platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative media strategies.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, emerging media platforms, and best practices.
