MEDIA ACCOUNT MANAGER

We're in search of a highly skilled and client-focused Media Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will boast a solid background in media planning and buying, exceptional communication skills, and a fervent drive to deliver outstanding results. The Media Account Manager will shoulder the responsibility of nurturing and upholding client relationships, crafting media strategies, overseeing campaign execution, and providing strategic counsel to propel success for our clients.


Responsibilities:


Client Relationship Management:


  • Act as the primary point of contact for allocated client accounts, nurturing robust relationships founded on trust and exceptional service.
  • Grasp client objectives, target demographics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to formulate effective media strategies.
  • Conduct regular meetings and communication with clients, supplying updates, addressing concerns, and presenting media recommendations.
  • Actively listen to client requirements and proactively identify opportunities to surpass their expectations.


Media Planning and Strategy:


  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to conceive comprehensive media strategies aligned with client objectives and target demographics.
  • Undertake market research, audience analysis, and competitive intelligence to guide media planning decisions.
  • Discern optimal media channels and platforms to reach the target audience and maximise campaign efficacy.
  • Develop and present media plans, including media mix, ad placements, targeting strategies, and budget allocation.


Media Buying and Execution:


  • Execute media purchases across various channels, negotiating rates, securing media placements, and overseeing media budgets.
  • Coordinate with media vendors, publishers, and partners to ensure precise and punctual campaign execution.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven optimisations to maximise reach, engagement, and ROI.
  • Deliver ongoing reporting and analysis, sharing insights and recommendations with clients to steer campaign success.


Campaign Performance Analysis:


  • Analyse campaign data and key performance metrics to evaluate performance against client objectives and KPIs.
  • Supply data-driven insights and suggestions for campaign optimisation and future media planning.
  • Prepare comprehensive performance reports, showcasing campaign results and highlighting areas of success and improvement.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance campaign performance and exceed client expectations.


Industry Knowledge and Innovation:


  • Stay updated with media industry trends, emerging technologies, and new advertising prospects.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of media planning and buying best practices to drive innovation and enhance client campaigns.
  • Share industry insights and expertise with clients, offering guidance on new media trends and strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in media, marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in media planning and buying, preferably in an agency or media-related role.
  • Strong grasp of media channels, encompassing digital, traditional, and emerging media platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Robust analytical skills, with the capability to interpret campaign data and provide data-driven insights.
  • Proficiency in media planning and buying tools, software, and research platforms.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail with effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate client needs and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Awareness of media industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
