MEDIA AD SALES MANAGER

Responsibilities:


Media Sales Strategy:


  • Devise and execute robust media sales strategies, with a focus on achieving revenue targets and market penetration.
  • Identify potential clients, markets, and opportunities for media ad sales.

  • Share market feedback with internal teams to enhance service offerings and competitive positioning.


Performance Metrics and Reporting:


  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics related to media ad sales.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance.
  • Analyse sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to refine sales strategies based on performance insights.


Team Collaboration:


  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, media planners, and account managers.
  • Ensure alignment between sales strategies and the capabilities of the internal teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in media ad sales, with a track record of achieving and surpassing revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of media channels, including digital, traditional, and emerging platforms.
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a history of successful contract closures.
  • Proficiency in sales tools, software, and CRM platforms.
  • Analytical acumen, capable of interpreting sales data and providing actionable insights.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in media ad sales.
