MEDIA PLANNER

Are you an analytical and strategic thinker? Join our team as a Media Planner. We're seeking a candidate with a solid grasp of media planning principles and excellent communication skills. Help us translate client objectives into actionable media strategies for exceptional results.


Responsibilities:


Client Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with clients to comprehend their advertising objectives, target audience, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct regular meetings and communications to align media strategies with client goals and provide updates on campaign progress.
  • Interpret client briefs and translate them into actionable media plans that meet client objectives.


Media Research and Analysis:


  • Conduct market research, audience analysis, and competitive intelligence to inform media planning decisions.
  • Identify target audience characteristics and media consumption habits to determine the most effective media channels.
  • Utilise media planning tools and software to gather data and insights for informed media decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging media platforms to leverage new opportunities.


Media Strategy Development:


  • Develop comprehensive media strategies that align with client objectives and target audience.
  • Determine optimal media mix and channel selection to maximise campaign reach and effectiveness.
  • Define media objectives, set KPIs, and establish measurement frameworks for campaign success.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on media budget allocation to achieve campaign goals.


Media Plan Creation and Execution:


  • Create detailed media plans that outline media objectives, strategies, tactics, and budget allocation.
  • Identify and negotiate media placements, rates, and inventory availability.
  • Collaborate with media vendors, publishers, and partners to secure media placements and optimise campaign performance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as creative and account management, to ensure seamless campaign execution.


Campaign Monitoring and Optimisation:


  • Monitor campaign performance and key metrics to evaluate effectiveness and ensure alignment with client objectives.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis and make data-driven optimisations to maximise campaign reach, engagement, and ROI.
  • Provide regular reports on campaign performance, highlighting insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data and insights for campaign optimisation.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in media planning, preferably in an agency or media-related role.
  • Strong understanding of media channels, including digital, traditional, and emerging media platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in media planning tools, software, and research platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think strategically.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, emerging media platforms, and best practices.
