SCRUM  MASTER

Are you a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master with a passion for Agile project management? Join our Project Services team and take on the role of a Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices, coach team members, and drive project success through a culture of agility and continuous improvement.


Responsibilities:


  1. Agile Facilitation: Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams, promoting Agile principles and practices.
  2. Scrum Ceremonies: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  3. Agile Coaching: Coach and guide team members on Agile methodologies, roles, and best practices.
  4. Impediment Removal: Remove impediments and obstacles that may hinder team progress and performance.
  5. Backlog Management: Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritise and manage the product backlog.
  6. Agile Adherence: Ensure that teams are following Agile practices and principles while adapting to their unique needs.
  7. Performance Tracking: Monitor team velocity and sprint progress, tracking and reporting on key performance metrics.
  8. Team Culture: Foster a collaborative and self-organising team culture, encouraging transparency and continuous improvement.
  9. Agility Promotion: Promote a culture of innovation and agility, driving the adoption of Agile practices across the organisation.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Certification as a Scrum Master (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster - CSM) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Agile tools and project management software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate team collaboration and engagement.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address impediments and challenges.
  • Ability to create an environment of trust and open communication within the team.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring team members on Agile practices.
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills to drive Agile ceremonies.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and a deep understanding of Agile principles.
