MEDIA ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

We are actively searching for a highly experienced and strategically adept Media Account Director to become a valued member of our team. As the Media Account Director, you will take the reins in nurturing client relationships, crafting and executing media strategies, providing guidance to our media team, and spearheading innovation to achieve extraordinary results for our clients.


Responsibilities:


Client Relationship Management:


  • Forge and sustain robust relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Grasp client objectives, target audience intricacies, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to conceive effective media strategies.
  • Hold regular meetings and communications with clients, delivering updates, addressing concerns, and presenting media recommendations.
  • Proactively unearth opportunities to surpass client expectations and boost client satisfaction.


Team Leadership and Management:


  • Lead and oversee a team of accomplished media professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and unwavering support.
  • Define team goals, establish KPIs, and ensure the team's successful execution of media campaigns.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture that encourages knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Execute performance assessments, supply constructive feedback, and pinpoint avenues for skills enhancement and training.


Media Strategy Development and Execution:


  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to concoct all-encompassing media strategies that harmonise with client objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Execute comprehensive market research, dissect audience traits, and stay attuned to competitive intelligence to steer media planning decisions.
  • Identify the most fitting media channels and platforms to connect with the target audience and extract maximum campaign efficiency.
  • Construct and present media plans, encapsulating the media mix, ad placements, targeting strategies, and budget allotment.


Media Buying and Execution:


  • Assiduously oversee media buying endeavours, ensuring the negotiation of competitive rates, procurement of media placements, and judicious management of media budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with media vendors, publishers, and partners to ensure precise and punctual campaign execution.
  • Vigilantly monitor campaign performance and enact data-driven optimisations to magnify reach, engagement, and ROI.
  • Offer consistent reporting and analysis, relaying insights and recommendations to clients for steering campaign triumph.


Campaign Performance Analysis and Innovation:


  • Scrutinise campaign data and pivotal performance metrics to appraise outcomes against client objectives and KPIs.
  • Dispense data-rooted insights and recommendations to enrich campaign optimisation and future media planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with burgeoning media industry trends, emergent technologies, and fresh advertising prospects.
  • Pave the way for innovation and thought leadership within the media department, capitalising on novel technologies and strategies to elevate client campaigns.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in media, marketing, commerce, or a cognate field. An MBA or advanced degree is deemed advantageous.
  • Extensive track record in media planning and buying, with a preference for prior agency or media-related roles.
  • A verifiable history of steering prosperous media campaigns at a senior level.
  • A profound comprehension of media channels, spanning digital, traditional, and emerging media platforms.
  • Exceptional leadership aptitudes and adeptness in team management, with the prowess to inspire and guide the team towards exemplary results.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the cultivation and sustenance of robust client relationships.
  • Robust analytical acumen, enabling the interpretation of campaign data and the provision of data-propelled insights.
  • Proficiency in media planning and buying tools, software, and research platforms.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management prowess, capacitating the management of multiple client accounts and deadlines.
