Email Marketing Manager
As an Email Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in driving customer engagement, activation, and revenue growth through strategic email campaigns. You will be responsible for leveraging marketing automation, personalisation, and customer journey mapping
to ensure relevant, high-impact messaging that strengthens relationships and maximises conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Email Campaign Execution & Optimisation: Develop, manage, and optimise email campaigns that drive customer activation, cross-selling, and retention.
- Marketing Automation: Utilise platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent CRM tools to build automated workflows that deliver timely and personalised communication.
- Personalisation & Segmentation: Refine audience targeting using customer archetyping, behavioural insights, and dynamic content strategies to enhance engagement.
- Customer Journey Mapping: Design and implement email strategies that align with the customer journey—ensuring seamless experiences from awareness to conversion and loyalty.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse key performance metrics, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies for improving campaign effectiveness.
- A/B Testing & Optimisation: Experiment with subject lines, content formats, and timing strategies to improve email performance and refine messaging.
- Cross-Channel Integration: Ensure email marketing efforts align with broader digital marketing initiatives, including paid media, SEO, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Audience Understanding & UX Alignment: Develop customer personas and archetypes with a strong focus on UX, ensuring content resonates with the right audience at the right time.
- 2–6 years of experience in email marketing, customer activation, and cross-selling.
- Proven track record of improving customer engagement and driving measurable revenue growth through email marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms(e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools.
- Strong understanding of personalisation techniques and how tailored content impacts conversion rates.
- Ability to interpret customer journey insights and translate them into strategic email flows.
- Expertise in data analysis, audience segmentation, and performance reporting.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and optimisation methodologies to continuously refine messaging and targeting.
- Creativity and innovation —a keen ability to think differently and push boundaries in campaign execution.
- Project management skills —able to manage stakeholders effectively and ensure deadlines are met with clear communication on progress.
