NETWORK ENGINEER

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer? Join our team and take responsibility for the design, implementation, and management of our network infrastructure. As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our network systems. Your expertise in network design, troubleshooting, and optimisation will be pivotal in supporting our technology environment and business operations.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with IT teams and departments to understand network requirements and objectives.
Design and implement network architecture, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based networks.
Configure and manage network devices, routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Monitor network performance, availability, and security, and proactively address issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents and outages.
Implement security measures and best practices to protect the network and data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new applications and services into the network.
Conduct network capacity planning and upgrade projects as needed.
Document network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
Stay updated about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered.
Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of network infrastructure.
Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Experience with LAN, WAN, and cloud-based network architecture.
Familiarity with network protocols, routing, and subnetting.
Knowledge of network security principles and measures.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate - CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
