S2M Recruitment is partnering with a globally recognised music artist to find a highly creative, fast‑thinking and resilient Social Media & Content Lead.

This is a rare opportunity to step inside the world of international touring, high‑energy performances and global fan communities and play a pivotal role in shaping the artist’s digital presence.

This role is Sydney‑based, and requires ability to work irregular hours, including frequent travel and rapid turnarounds. If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, love storytelling, and can capture magic in the moment, you’ll feel right at home.

What You’ll Be Doing

Content Creation & Capture
  • Film and photograph live shows, studio sessions, travel moments and behind‑the‑scenes content
  • Produce high‑quality video and photo assets that reflect the artist’s brand and creative direction
  • Edit content into polished, engaging pieces for social, promotional and long‑form use
Ideation & Strategy
  • Develop creative concepts, fan‑focused ideas and content strategies
  • Build and manage fan‑driven pages and initiatives
  • Craft compelling visual narratives that resonate with a global audience
Social Media Leadership
  • Schedule, post and manage content across all social platforms
  • Engage with fans and support community growth
  • Optimise content for each platform using best‑practice knowledge and trend awareness
Collaboration & Execution
  • Work closely with the artist, management and creative partners
  • Contribute ideas, troubleshoot challenges and execute content quickly and accurately
  • Maintain all equipment and ensure daily organisation of content files
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience as a videographer, content producer or similar role (music/entertainment ideal)
  • Strong videography, photography and editing skills with a standout portfolio
  • Proficiency in editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Photoshop, Lightroom)
  • Excellent storytelling instincts and a sharp eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently, travel at short notice and operate across global time zones
  • Strong understanding of all major social platforms and what drives engagement
  • Highly organised, responsive and comfortable working in a small, high‑performing team
You’ll Thrive Here If You Are
  • Quick‑witted, adaptable and calm under pressure
  • Energised by the music industry, travel and fast‑moving environments
  • A natural collaborator who communicates clearly and professionally
  • Passionate about music, creativity and building fan‑first experiences
Why This Role Rocks
  • Work directly with an internationally recognised artist
  • Creative freedom to shape content and storytelling
  • A collaborative, tight‑knit team that values initiative and accountability
  • A front‑row seat to global touring, performances and behind‑the‑scenes moments
You need to be Sydney based, have a valid passport, willingness to travel at short notice, and ideally a drivers license.
