This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working close to the data, getting into the detail, and owning campaign execution end to end.
You’ll be responsible for building, deploying and optimising campaigns across EDM, SMS and direct mail, working closely with account managers, designers and developers to ensure accuracy, performance and compliance. You’ll help deliver smart, data-led campaigns for a range of clients, while building strong technical and executional skills.
Responsibilities
- Execute EDM, SMS and direct mail campaigns from brief to delivery, including audience segmentation, scheduling and deployment.
- Build, edit and troubleshoot responsive HTML email templates, ensuring compatibility across devices and email clients.
- Work within ESPs to manage campaign builds, automation journeys and A/B testing.
- Write and run SQL queries for audience selection, data segmentation and campaign reporting.
- Use scripting tools (e.g. PowerShell or similar) to streamline workflows and improve campaign efficiency.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing clear insights and recommendations for optimisation.
- Ensure campaigns adhere to data privacy, compliance and deliverability best practices.
- 18+ months experience in digital marketing, ideally across EDM, SMS or direct mail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a small, agile team.
- Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS for email and responsive design.
- Solid working knowledge of SQL for querying databases and generating reports.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment.
