What’s the role about?
Working closely with the leadership team and external accounting partners, the Finance Coordinator will oversee day-to-day financials and contribute to strategic growth. Responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable across multiple studio locations
- Reconciling bank accounts and tracking expenses
- Preparing monthly P&L reports, cash flow forecasts, and budget variance analysis
- Supporting payroll processing and ensuring compliance with ATO, BAS, and superannuation obligations
- Liaising with external accountants and financial advisors
- Monitoring key financial KPIs such as studio profitability, member revenue, and cost per acquisition
- Assisting with franchisee onboarding, royalty tracking, and investor reporting
- Implementing financial controls and process improvements
What do you need?
- 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping (multi-site or franchise experience highly regarded)
- Proficiency in Xero and Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a high-growth environment
- Clear communication skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
- An interest in sports or fitness is a bonus, but not essential
