We are partnering with a well-established, forward-thinking organisation that is investing heavily in its customer data and marketing technology capability.

As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Retail Media Data Platform & Martech Solutions Lead to take ownership of their customer data ecosystem and help shape the next phase of their data-driven marketing strategy.

This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, marketing technology, and advanced analytics. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable data flows, strong governance, and scalable architecture while enabling highly personalised customer engagement.

What you will be responsible for
  • Own and optimise the Customer Data Platform and broader Martech ecosystem
  • Oversee integrations across CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and external platforms
  • Act as technical owner for event pipelines, monitoring schema and delivery performance
  • Establish and enforce data governance practices aligned with privacy and security standards
  • Lead the architecture and management of the common data layer, ensuring clean and reliable datasets
  • Partner with marketing teams to drive audience strategy, segmentation, and campaign activation
  • Build data models and dashboards to generate meaningful insights into customer behaviour
  • Manage tagging and tracking frameworks across key analytics tools
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert while promoting best practice and continuous improvement
What we are looking for
  • Proven experience working with Customer Data Platforms and modern data warehouses
  • Strong SQL capability and experience with data modelling and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with tools such as Segment, Tealium, Braze, GA4, GTM, or similar
  • Solid understanding of identity resolution, audience activation, and campaign attribution
  • Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Track record of improving data quality, governance, and platform performance
Exposure to ecommerce or media environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
