We are seeking a Business Analyst (Data Services) to join a forward-thinking technology team focused on financial data integration and asset pricing. In this role, you will ensure the reliable and accurate integration of third‑party data feeds into a next‑generation wealth management and advice platform. Your work will directly support advisers and investors by enabling accurate pricing and reporting across a wide range of financial instruments. Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for new and existing third‑party data integrations.
- Perform detailed data analysis on vendor files, schemas, and APIs to understand structures, relationships, and transformation needs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to clarify requirements, support build activities, and validate implementation outcomes.
- Partner with vendors to resolve data issues, clarify definitions, and ensure alignment on delivery formats and schedules.
- Maintain documentation, standards, and reusable templates to improve consistency and scalability across integrations.
- Work closely with product teams to ensure data solutions meet business needs across reporting, compliance, and operational workflows.
You will play a critical role in managing data feeds for pricing across:
Listed equities and ETFs, Managed funds & Fixed income instruments.
Your expertise will ensure advisers and clients have accurate, timely, and reliable pricing data to support portfolio management and investment decisions.
Key Attributes & Experience
- Strong background as a Business Analyst within data feeds or services in financial services or investment management.
- Hands‑on experience analysing structured data (CSV, XML, JSON, APIs) and interpreting vendor specifications.
- Strong SQL or data‑querying skills to support analysis and validation.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear documentation for both business and technology teams.
