Mobile Business Development Manager

From the delivery and settlement of mobile messaging interoperability to the management and distribution of mobile content via Short Message Service (SMS), Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP), Sybase 365 has the market covered. The company provides true enterprise mobility—the ability to access any information, any place, at any time.
The Company is seeking a Business Development to join the team based in Sydney.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Major Duties & responsibilities include:
Responsible for Development and Sales of key verticals in Australia and New ZealandKey Verticals are: mobile marketing (mobile content companies / portals / brands) and the corporate messaging market (particular focus on finance and travel sectors)Deliver Revenues from these sectors as per quarterly targetsClose significant new business opportunitiesAccount management of major clients and new business won will also be required.Explore and identify new vertical opportunities in Australia and New Zealand
To be successful in this role – we are seeking the following experience & education:
5+ years experience with at least 1 – 2 years in the mobile space; preferably working directly for an aggregator / service provider or third party content services division of a carrierSolid understanding of mobile functionality and terminology such as direct and indirect connections, MOs and MTs Strong sales focused; Revenue and Margin drivenTeam player with the ability to work autonomouslyHave high level management capabilities – and be able to present capably at that levelTechnically competent, be able to recommend and create solutions from The Company’s ProductsA creative and multi-level thinkerAn excellent communicator both externally and internallyInnovative while profit drivenBe partnership-orientedBe a strong leader for the teamUniversity degree qualified
