Our client is one of the market's leading online publishing group. Due to a recent promotion they are looking for a top AM to join their well established team. The core focus of this role is to manage (and build) 2 key Media Agency relationships - representing digital media solutions across a portfolio of well established digital assets. Responsibilities: Ongoing account management Regular contact with assigned Media Agencies and clients Identification, development and communication of relevant new product offerings Identify upcoming opportunities to up- and cross-sell Increase client familiarity of network product range Identify opportunities for cross-media marketing activity Identify new business opportunities within assigned Media Agency portfolio Identify potential new clients from competitors, industry press and emerging trends New client research, sales presentations, sales proposals Responding to advertising briefs both direct and via assigned agency portfolio Sales pipeline management Skills & Experience: Proven sales ability, 2+ years sales experience Media experience, preferably with some time spent in online Preferably tertiary educated or demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a business environment Proven agency and direct client account management experience Media Agency contacts ESSENTIAL In-depth knowledge of the Internet and it's commercial/marketing benefits Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with wide range of people at all decision-making levels to develop strong internal and external working relationships Strong negotiation skills Excellent presentation skills Strong customer focus High degree of computer literacy (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet) Good planning and organisational skills, able to prioritise multiple tasks Confident and enthusiastic Driven to succeed - drives results beyond expectations Responds well to a challenge Takes initiative - proactively identifies new opportunities, etc A team player, helps to create an effective working environment This is a fantastic (and rare) opportunity!
