HEAD OF USABILITY

An ASX listed company in the digital space is seeking a brilliant Usability expert to join their ever expanding team.

As an expert on the subject matter, you will have at least 3+ years of experience with user-centred design, interaction design, and user interface design within a commercial environment. Your Usability skills comprise of a strong background on W3C standards, GUI technologies and designing large-scale online applications. You have exposure in live group UI testing session at all levels from design to development stages and are familiar with eye tracking and click orientation reporting. You are a crusader on the need for strong UID guidelines and an evangelist on the benefits of usability, and accessibility, at all development levels.

You’ve had a good career run and are willing to teach and mentor young talent who will be inspired by your brilliance and hopefully seek to emulate your passion and drive. You communicate very well to spur people to action and you have the authority to back your decisions and the executive calls that you make. You have the confidence to present your concepts to clients and the fortitude to educate the unlearned about the science and benefits of each design made.
