We are seeking a world class Head of Digital to join our growing integrated agency.
They are a senior and passionate player in the interactive space - expected to be a leading force in interactive and digital strategic solutions that will integrate into our media neutral ‘ideas driven’ planning process.
They are able to challenge convention in order to influence consumer behaviour and are excited about being part of a best practice integrated communications agency.
They have strong working knowledge of digital media, brand development, online advertising, interactive commerce and the creative process is required.
The role reports to the Managing Director, and may function as a right hand to the MD on large projects or brands.
- Work hand in hand with existing planning department to deliver world class digital and interactive solutions
- Work closely with partner media agencies to develop truly digi-centric communications solutions
- Set measurable objectives and drive campaign optimisation process
- Develop and deliver innovative proposals to capture both account growth and new business opportunities
- Develop and shape appropriate digital solutions and engagement strategies to address our clients’ business issues
- Keep staff and clients up-to-date on emerging and current trends in the interactive space
- Promote continual strategic improvement and a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability
- Contribute to agency skill development through management participation, mentoring of talent on project and team level
- Understand, embrace, and exemplify company's mission and values
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of digital planning tools, systems and processes with a POV on which to utilise when and at what point in the ‘digital’ planning process
- 10 years marketing experience with at least 5 years experience in the interactive side
- Experienced at identifying and articulating how integrated marketing can address real business issues for clients
- Passion for digital and interactive creative and eagerness to collaborate with other agency departments
- Experience developing strategies for Internet commerce, electronic marketing and online brand management
- Worked on a wide range of accounts and business issues
- Experience leading brainstorming sessions, campaign development, creative brief development and directing creative execution
- Proven success rationalising strategy and effectively presenting to clients
- Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and related mediums
- Comprehensive understanding of the digital media and production processes
- Outstanding written and verbal and presentation communication skills
- Effective and creative problem-solving skills
- Leadership skills and the ability to continuously guide and mentor staff and clients”
