I received news that I have been accepted for a role I applied for last week with an agency this morning. This was poorly timed with news yesterday of the interview with APN. It was disappointing that I wasn't successful as I was very keen on the role & it was an opportunity I was excited about. But you prepared me well  from the beginning and you didn't set unrealistic expectations. As I've mentioned briefly, I have had some bad experiences with recruiters of late who have either mislead me and given me high expectations. And even though I wasn't a successful candidate you were still able to provide me with the courtesy of a call and feedback, which is all I could ask for. 

Thank you again for all your effort, its a shame you don't deal in my area of work as you have been a pleasure to deal with and made this experience very easy! Please feel free to pass my comments onto your manager, I think He/She should know what a great help you have been to me and what an asset you are to their business!! We don't often get acknowledged for the little things that we do, but often its the little things that mean the most to others!

I wanted to give you an update about my job hunt. I've accepted a position in the policy team for a not-for-profit. It has a perfect mix of communications and policy that I think I'll really enjoy. While this position was one I applied for directly, your help has been invaluable in my job search. You were far and away the most supportive recruitment agent I have dealt with. I felt prepared and confident going into the Red Cross interview despite the fact that it was a position perhaps a few years down my career path. Thanks so much for getting back to me. I myself have recently filled a position so I am certainly hoping to not be on the move again in the near future, but having said that there is certainly never any harm in being made aware of opportunities that are out there.

I believe I mentioned it in my initial application to you, but I am encouraged by S2Ms approach to the recruitment process, asking what I think are the important question in order to make good matches and find win-win scenario's for businesses and individual professionals.

I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know how much I appreciated working with Kerry Allen over recent months. Whilst I have been offered a role that was not managed by s2m I have to say, I truly found your service and care for your clients vastly different from some of the other recruiters I dealt with.
Kerry displayed genuine care for me as an individual, and provided much encouragement and kindness to me as I searched for a suitable job. Additionally, she always fulfilled her promises to me and provided me with a range of potential jobs to consider. In doing so, I felt that she actually understood the importance of finding me the right role, rather than simply palming me off to go for jobs that werent a suitable fit. In a world where some 'commission focused' recruiters treat you as nothing more than a pawn, it was refreshing and such a relief to work with someone who sincerely seemed to care.
